Two Year Post-Graduate Programme in Project Construction & Infrastructure Management
The Course
Laying the foundation of knowledge and helping build a strong career, MIT's Project, Construction & Infrastructure course. With an aim to provide the civil engineers an opportunity to upgrade their professional career, to help them handle big projects with the theoretical knowledge of construction engineering and to assist them in acquiring managerial skills for providing effective leadership and insight to the projects, the programme is designed in such a way that it will add new dimensions to the student's personality that will mould him into a multi-skilled manager and a best suitable operational project manager.
The inter-disciplinary programme builds upon the concepts, techniques and methodologies of engineering and management studies.
This 12 months programme is designed for fresh graduates as well as working professional with the aim of developing a strong understanding of pre-requisites for succeeding as project management professional.
The curriculum of the programme is a fine blend of theory and practical know-how. Theoretical knowledge will help improve the students' understanding of the certain fundamental subjects.
Techniques taught in the course are reinforced with thorough 'real-life' case studies. Through study tours and site visits to various construction projects a student can learn application of new and latest technologies and can update himself with the ongoing field practices.
Software training module will help student learn computer application skills and help him acquire the proficiency in the computerized construction project management.
