Two Year Post-Graduate Programme in Forestry Management

The Need

With global government and industry becoming more and more aware of global warming and its disastrous impact, every industry from aviation to pharmaceuticals is being compelled towards greener ways.
With the laws getting more and more stringent there is need for managers with expertise in forestry management.
These managers are needed for transforming the way of thinking to green solutions, incorporating eco- friendly technologies and implementing green eco friendly methods in natural resource management and disposal of wasteful material and gases.

The Scope

After completing the course students are ready to play a critical role as green managers in India and globally.

There are employment opportunities in forestry department, agro-industries, timber industry, pollution control related projects, green fuel industry etc. Work will involve environment risk analysis in projects, planning and implementation of green projects, supervision of projects to ensure least environmental damage, implemetation of eco-friendly technologies, sustainable management in natrual resources etc.
